Delivery Man

Our friend Cris delivered a painting to us the other day. It is pretty large (5 ft x 5 ft) so we couldn't even fit it in our cars.
Here is Cris talking to Sam. (No...Sam really was not crying...too hard.)

You can see the new painting behind Cris.
Thanks again Cris for making the trip and bring that down to us. We really appreciate your help so much!

Alicia and the Damianis visit

Alicia came to meet Sam. He was soooooo excited to see her that he spit up on her within the first 3 minutes that she was holding him. (oops!) While I was holding Sam, Gerogia and Rudy demanded a few scratches from her free hands.

Thanks for coming up to meet the little Sammers Licia!

We also had a visit from Candi, Alexis, and Emma Bear.

Emma ran around with Flora while Alexis gave the dogs some much needed attention. Candi, thanks for stopping to see us on your journey south. It was great to see you all. Your girls are growing up so fast!

Happy Retirement Aunt Judy!

While everyone was here, we had a little celebration for Aunt Judy who just retired from teaching kindergarten in Spencer. She was such a great teacher that we know that school is going to miss you greatly.
Aunt Judy, we are so excited that you are now retired and now you and Uncle Bill can travel and enjoy all your free time.

You made it! School's is out for you! Congratulations!

Everyone comes to visit

This past weekend we had several visitors. Sam was so excited to see everyone. My sister Rachael, my niece Flora, G'ma and G'pa Meads, Aunt Judy, and Grandma Great came to visit Sam.
Flora LOVES her cousin and just can't keep from petting him ALL the time. :>)

Here is G'pa Meads lovin up Sammers!

Sam really loved hanging out with his Aunt Judy.

Grandma Great snuggled up with Sam while she was visiting.

Aunt Judy and Sam enjoyed playing in the frog gym.

Thanks to everyone for coming. We had such a great visit with you all. Love you all!

Sam loves his grandparents!

Sam has been thinking about how much he loves his grandparents. Grandma Dodson and Grandma and Grandpa Meads have been up to visit with Sam.

Here is Grandpa Meads holding Sam while Flora supervises.

Sam is so lucky to have his grandparents around to love him all up.

Happy 1st Anniversary!

Sam wanted to make sure to say Happy 1st Anniversary to Aunt Jessie and Uncle Brian. He made this love note to remind us to send them wishes for many more happy years together! :>)

What? We have dogs?

Georgia and Rudy would tell everyone how they have been a BIT ignored over the last 6 weeks. With the arrival of Sam, Georgia and Rudy haven't gotten as much attention. Today, Sam took his dogs swimming.

Here are the two water rats!

Sam supervised his pooches from his special carrier....

G'ma Dodson watched the show...and got a bit wet too!

And after going swimming, the dogs got a (MUCH needed) bath!

More G'ma time

G'ma Dodson came this weekend to share some hugs and kisses with Sam.
G'ma Dodson is looking at Sam like he does no wrong...and Sam looks pretty amazed with her too!

Sam is so lucky to have so many Grandmas to love him up.

Here we are posing in John and Melissa's new house.

Sam just loves his grandparents!

Welcome Back Hancoxes!

Our good friends John and Melissa recently moved back to West Virginia from California. We are so excited that we are now going to be so close. We went to see their new (beautiful) home and visit with them and their three kidos. Lauren and Ashley each gave us a recorder concert and....
Will showed us his new walking skills.

I am not sure how.....but Melissa evaded the Dodson camera! BUT you can see her legs in the above picture helping Willers walk. (I'll get you next time Melissa!)

Ashley and John were doing math problems....Think Ashley, think!

Yeah.....she got them all right!

Ashley, when you are 16 and thoroughly embarassed when your daddy sticks things up his nose, you can always come and live with us. (Although we can't guarantee anything better!) :>)

Lauren and Will were cuddling on the couch.

Lauren knows how to use those dimples!

John was very surprised at how big Sam has gotten.

And John helped Sam to stretch.....

We are sooooo glad that you all have returned! We hope to see you all lots!

Daddy's boy!

Sam is definitely Daddy's boy.

He loves to snuggle and be held by Daddy.

Moo Moo!

Farmer Sam has been taking care of his farm...with chicks and cows.

He tries to fit in so much tht he even has cute cow feet!

It is soooo hard being a farmer baby!

Date night for Sam

Sam had a date night this past Wednesday with G'ma and G'pa Meads and Grandma Great.

Sam LOVES to snuggle with his Grandma Great!

Jeff and I went to see a movie (Pirates of the Carribean...which we really enjoyed!...). I think Sam wore everyone out because when we got home he was (STILL) crying. I think that he went on a crying spree from 8-9:30 PM.

Thank you all for letting us go see a movie. Jeff and I really apprecite having a little time together. :>)

Also, while the Meads gang was here, G'ma and G'pa Nasseri came to visit.

G'ma Nasseri and Sam were singing I think....

Thanks for coming over. Let's do it weekly!
